HOW IT WORKS

A shared record, not a wallet.

We do not move money and we never touch it. The transfer keeps going through whatever the worker already uses, a bank, a licensed remittance operator, whatever is cheapest that month. What we add is the record around it, agreed by both sides, that neither can quietly rewrite.

01

Set the purpose

On the phone, before sending. What this transfer is for and how much goes to each thing. School fees, medicine, savings, household.

02

Family confirms

The person receiving it confirms they have seen the purpose. Now both sides hold the same agreement instead of two memories of a call.

03

Money moves as usual

Through the existing channel. We are not in that path, we hold no funds, and we are not a payment provider.

04

Record what happened

The family marks each item as done, and can note where something changed and why. Changing an agreed purpose is a step both sides see, not a silent edit.

05

The history builds

After a year there is a statement of what was funded, agreed by both people at the time. Nobody has to remember, and nobody has to go anywhere to look it up.

What we are not

  • Not a remittance provider. Moving money across borders needs a Bank Indonesia licence and we do not hold one, do not apply for one, and do not need one for this.
  • Not a bank or an e-wallet. We hold no balances and no client funds at any point.
  • Not a monitor. The family is not being watched. They confirm and record on their own side, and can say when something changed.
  • Not a lender. There is no credit, no scoring, and no debt in any of this.
  • Not a website you have to sit down at. This is being built as a phone app for both sides, because that is the only device most people in this actually own.

If you send money home, or you are the one receiving it, we want to hear how you handle this now.

We are still working out what this should be. Talking to people who live it is worth more to us at this stage than anything we could design on our own. Write in Indonesian or English, whichever is easier.
